Over the last 30 years\, consumption of meat\, milk and eggs in lower midd le-income countries has more than tripled. Population growth\, urbanisatio n\, income gains and globalisation continue to fuel the “livestock revolut ion”. According to FAO projections\, under a business-as-usual scenario\, demand for meat will increase by a further 60% by 2030\, compared to 2006\ , and by over 200% by 2050. This represents a big source of challenges and opportunities on how to reduce environmental impacts\, while continuing to meet society’s needs.\nLink: https://www.embl.de/aboutus/science_society/s eminars/2020/falcucci/index.html\nStream link: https://embl-de.zoom.us/web inar/register/WN_x85rxIQxToiiyoO4LSTWPA\n DTSTART:20201211T100000Z LAST-MODIFIED:20210118T005000Z DURATION:PT1H UID:www.embl.org/13092 TRANSP:TRANSPARENT SEQUENCE:0 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
